Darn is right! I’m so sorry to hear that you may have a broken rib and are in pain. I hope they can fix you up at the hospital. No worries at all if we have to delay our celebration. There will be lots of time to celebrate when you are feeling better. Take good care and get better soon!
ah that really sucks!! sorry to hear that. however, this is the laaaast radiation, but there will be many margaritas to come! hehe.
Good news #1 is that the rib was not broken. It's some kind of cartilage infection that is known to cause excruciating heart-attack-like pain.
More good news is that as long as I don't tilt forward or backward, lift anything heavy or take a deep breath, I can avoid the pain. So I was able to enjoy a fabulous margarita celebration with Jay afterall (THANKS for your amazing friendship, good company and huge generosity JAY!!!).
Good news #3 is that my pain-killing prescription allowed me to sleep last night.
Good news #4 is that the inability to exert myself will guarantee me some much-needed but long-resisted relaxation. Which is bound to help my much-needed all-over healing.
Thank you for everything, Jay!! I'm so lucky to bask in your amazing friendship!
