We Can Rebuild Her
Better than she was before… Better, Stronger, Happier. A Breast Cancer Journal

WoooooooHoooooooooo!!!!

All is well.

The doctor assures me that the lumps are absolutely no problem at all. She has a number of theories involving muscle, tendon, scar tissue etc and has ordered an ultrasound, just to be safe.

Yahoooooooooooo!!!!!

Yes, I’m a certifiable hypochondriac. And, yes, this very good news is worth the hours of teasing that Mark is currently enjoying.

Thank you for your good, good vibes.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Andrea Ross was diagnosed with breast cancer October 6, 2009 and intends to survive and thrive. You can read more from Andrea here.

WOOHOO is right! This holiday season brings about even more reasons to celebrate.nnBTW, for those who don’t understand the photo of me, I was joking that Andrea had tried knocking out my teeth because of my relentless teasing. The good news is I’d worked in a battery of Arrested Development references. Is there any situation for which AD doesn’t have an appropriate quote???!

Mark, Bob, Jay, Ginny, Betti and Steve: Thank you for your support, your good vibes, your humour and your congratulations.nnI am so happy to have this fabulous news that I only feel mildly humiliated to have once again exposed my hypochondria.nnIt’s completely surprising to me that after 44 years with my extremely predictable and stable body — and more 14 months after my surgeries — lumps can just sprout up like that and be completely harmless. But I’m not complaining. I’m glad to be alive.n

Dear Andrea, great relief to know that the lump is harmless. God is great. Please don’t think of it as hypochondria. Such things can’t be ignored, especially as it comes in the heels of the cancer treatment. Take good care of your health. BTW, I thought Mark was whistling (as we do in movie theatre sometimes), upon hearing the good news.
