A Fresh Start.
Just days before that lump jumped to centre stage, Mark presented me with this birthday card.
Its message so maddeningly trite but true.
Since then, life has seemed a series of countdowns. To surgeries, celebrations and ends of various treatments.
Escaping to the
I Can Do It! Conference this weekend reminded me of the importance of choosing :
openness to new perspectives and new possibilities
healthy thoughts and habits
Above all, it reminded me that every breath can be a chance to start fresh.
I think I’ll take a few.
I’m back from the Hay House I Can Do It! Conference in Toronto.
It was absolutely fabulous in every way.
And I did, indeed, come home a slightly improved version of myself — with lots of tools for improving much, much more.
Now to put the tools to use…
Andrea is at the I Can Do It! conference, I thought I’d do my best to keep publishing fresh content on the site.
While catching up on a backlog of the
TED talk videos, I saw this talk by William Li on eating to starve cancer. The talk includes a look at how cancer forms and how certain foods and spices stack up against prescribed cancer treatments.
This video is definitely worth a watch. There’s also a short animated story at the end that serves as a nice dessert.
I’m heading any minute now to the Hay House I Can Do It! Conference in Toronto.
Treatment kept me from Podcamp and BookCamp this year but I’m not missing the opportunity to soak up three days of inspiration. Hair or no hair!
Maybe I’ll even be a slightly better Me when I get back home Monday.
Enjoy your weekend!
